Oppshopshow

Alright this has to be my 1st bloggy so here goes…….

Oppshopshow wednesdays 5pm till 7pm 

The oppshopshow has been goin for 4and a half years(almost as long as when fleet started) and have been playin only tracks i’ve bought from oppshops or 2nd hand shops.I also have a knack of gettin some new cds for free hahaaaa.

The show has had a few co-host who have been awsum to work with.They are: Adam Stone(unicycler mad maker of anything he gets his hands on) Paul Stothers(aka Frosty Boy)and Benny George(good taste and good man all round).Now its just me which is ok but could do with another partner to bounce of.

So the music in general ranges mainly of 80s and records older than 80s ok.I do play a  lots of NZ(mainly flying nun stuff i,ve picked up here and there over the years for very cheap cheap) and indie stuff.Lots of hits and lots of random shit,hammond,sound effects and lots of stuff i’ve never heard until i play it on my show.Which can be good and often not but i have the power and freedom of fleet to stop it whenever i like,so there.

Essentials for my sho include 3 beers,1 spliff and many a scratched record(and a bit of spaceman3).
